Description

Antico Pastificio Morelli is an Italian artisan pasta factory founded in 1860 in Tuscany. In the fifth generation, the family business is run by siblings Lucia, Antonio and Marco Morelli.

Busiate is a traditional Sicilian spiral pasta.

The pasta is handmade from durum wheat, drawn in a bronze mould and dried at a low temperature. This gives the pasta a rough surface that binds sauces well and retains its flavour and nutritional value.

Tips for use:
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water for 10 minutes until al dente. Rinse the pasta in cold water just for salads. Otherwise, pour off the water and mix the pasta directly into the dressing.

Producer:
Antico Pastificio Morelli was founded in 1860 and is a fifth generation family business. The siblings Lucia, Antonio and Marco Morelli continue the family tradition. The pasta factory is located in San Romano, near Montopoli in Val d'Arno, Tuscany.

Morelli uses only the best Tuscan or Italian durum wheat and produces the pasta using artisanal methods. The mixing is done slowly and the dough is drawn with a bronze mould, which gives the pasta a perfect texture. Drying takes place at a low temperature for 36 hours, which preserves the flavour and nutritional values.

Durum wheat flour, water.
Contains: wheat. Made in a plant that also processes eggs.

    Absolutely wonderful product

It is good. I bought Busiate in Sicily. When it ran out, I had to start looking for something similar in Finland. The brand was different then, but the taste is just as good here. Busiate is my favorite pasta!
