Suprem'Nougat G. Savin is a French family confectioner operating in Montélimar since 1900, who hand-makes both the famous Montélimar nougat and Provençal calissons.
Calisson is Provence’s oldest and most recognizable confetti – a diamond-shaped treat made with a base of finely ground almonds and candied Provençal melon. Topped with a smooth white sugar glaze. Dating back to the 15th century, calisson is part of the traditional Provençal Christmas spread (13 desserts).
