La Maison Godard's 65g duck liverbloc - the perfect size for a couple or as an appetizer. The same authentic Périgord recipe as in the larger jar: the foie gras is emulsified until smooth, seasoned with Port and spices. Serve chilled with toast.
Duck liver, water, salt, Porto, spices, preservative: sodium nitrite.

Competent and affordable duck liver. Suitable for one person for an evening treat or maybe two if there is more on the tray. I had it with crackers. Not the strongest tasting duck liver I've tasted. If you prefer the taste of foie gras, this is for you. If you like a strong taste of duck liver, then this would be a four-star product. Personally, I liked it.
