Favorita Pesto alla Genovese is an authentic Italian basil pesto, made according to a traditional recipe using Basilico Genovese DOP basil from the Ligurian region. This aromatic pesto combines fresh basil, high-quality olive oil, cashews and pine nuts for a unique taste experience.
La Favorita is a family business from Borgo San Dalmazzo, Piedmont, that has been operating for over 40 years. The company produces gourmet specialties using only the best organic ingredients without artificial colors or preservatives. The pesto is made according to traditional methods using DOP certified Genoese basil, grown on farms around Genoa using 100% organic farming methods.
Use: Perfect with freshly cooked pasta dishes – mix pesto into hot pasta immediately. Also great for topping pizza, bruschetta, sandwiches and antipasti. You can also use it to enrich soups or as a dipping sauce for fresh bread. Keep refrigerated after opening.
