Lavender honey 150g

Lavender is an age-old symbol of the Provence region of France - its delicate, aromatic scent immediately transports you to a lavender field in the south of France. Lucien Georgelin's lavender honey is collected from 100% French native apiaries and retains all the delicacy of lavender.

Lavender honey has a slightly firmer texture than acacia honey, for example, and is light yellowish in colour with a mildly floral and aromatic flavour. It has a natural calming and relaxing effect and is known as an excellent alternative to white sugar.

Ideas for use:
- For sweetening tea or infusion
- With yoghurt or curd
- On toast or croissant
- To complement a cheese board (especially with goat's or sheep's milk cheeses)
- For salad dressings or marinades
- For pastries and desserts

Store at room temperature. Honey crystallises naturally - this is a sign that it is genuine and unprocessed. You can return it to liquid form by placing the jar in a warm water bath.
