Mariangela Prunotto is a family-run business in Piedmont that makes its organic pasta sauce from home-grown tomatoes. The tomatoes are hand-picked and processed into sauce within 48 hours – the result is a fresh, vibrant flavor that industrial production cannot achieve.
Arrabbiata means ”angry” in Italian – and the hot chili (0.5 %) gives this sauce its personality. It also includes carrots, onions, celery, bell peppers and basil. No added sugar, no dried herbs, no flavor concentrates. Gluten-free.
Ready to use: heat and mix with pasta, finish with a good olive oil. Also works as an excellent base for pizza, scrambled eggs or meatballs.
