Description
Pamako Monovarietal is an extra virgin olive oil pressed from 100% % Tsounati variety, hand-harvested in the Selino Mountains of Crete at an altitude of 500-700 meters. Tsounati is one of the oldest varieties in Greece, with roots dating back to the Minoan civilization.
The phenol content of 2,081 mg/kg makes this oil one of the most phenolic in the world. Pamako is the first olive oil to be certified as a food supplement and can be prescribed by doctors – the health claim in accordance with EU Regulation 432/2012 is printed on the bottle.
Taste: fresh and fruity, intensely pungent, with a soft tart aftertaste. Ideal to enjoy on its own or as a finishing oil in gourmet cooking.
Certified organic FI-EKO-201. Packaged in a UV-protected dark glass bottle with an oak cork closure.
