Bourdic was originally a family business, founded in 1975 by Guérande salt producer Mr. Bourdic and passed down from father to son. Sales began with the sale of coarse salt to local and regional stores. It then gradually evolved with the introduction of the first dried powdered Guérande salt.
Over the years, Bourdic has built a range of products and packaging models to meet the needs of customers, consumers and distributors.
Guérande salt and Guérande Fleur de Selä are supplied by independent salt workers carefully selected by the founding institution according to exact specifications that meet the requirements of various quality labels such as "Nature & Progrès" and "IGP" (Protected Geographical Indication).
