Arroz Brazal rice varieties grow in mountainous conditions at higher altitudes than anywhere else in Spain, in the north of Aragon. In this region, rice crops are exposed to cold climates and receive their cool irrigation water from the melting snow of the Pyrenees.
The cold makes the rice grow more slowly and uniformly and reduces plant diseases.
Arroz Brazal uses traditional methods of harvesting and further processing to maintain quality. It mills the rice in its own mill, which produces high quality and unique single variety rice.
